Obama is a White Black
If George Zimmerman is a "white hispanic" then President Obama is, by the exact same standard, a White Black.

Let's Treat Hollywood Stars' Pay Like HHS Treats Private Health Insurers
You liberals should go for this: why not limit "unreasonable" compensation for Hollywood and other entertainment figures who rake in millions a year, largely at the expense of poor and minorities. Single moms pay the same price for a movie ticket as the evil bank president. How is that fair? Those greedy movie stars and rock stars!
This logic is what is being espoused by Obamacare unelected officials like Kathleen Sebelius:
Now this sounds good until you realize that because of Obamacare the costs to those companies has already skyrocketed. But the Big Government doesn't want to allow them to recover those costs. Clearly this is a move to bankrupt and drive private insurance from the market and limit our choices.
Limiting choice is what liberal are all about. The flip side is control. In liberal "theology" you are just too stupid and so these elites must take your choices away as consumers and then they, and they alone will dole out to you the crap they want to serve you.
That's essentially what Sebelius, Obama's Health Care Czar, says above. "Consumers are no longer in the dark about their health insurance premiums." Really? Seems like mine is pretty simple. They send a bill for an amount, and I pay it or my employer does. Another company charges less for similar coverage, so I switch to it next time. End of story. It's no more complicated than buying bread. I don't care all the details behind the scenes that went into the price of a loaf. It doesn't matter. I just compare the two loaves and buy the one I believe is a better value. It's even simpler if the end result is just monetary coverage for a given health issue. $1000 from Aetna is the same as $1000 from Nationwide. But if Aetna spent too much on it's ads and must charge customers $20 more a month consumers will start going elsewhere and they are penalized by consumer choice.
Getting back to movie stars, they are private business people last I checked. They have the right to create a product (themselves) and market it for whatever anyone wants to pay. Consumers vote with their dollars. That's democracy! That's economic justice.
But now imagine if Obama decided that $7 is too much for a movie ticket and forced price caps of $2 so that "all" could attend "affordable movies." Well, we know what the $2 movie theater is like. Wear your old shoes! And don't expect good projection or sound, or digital cinema. Ain't happening. But the equivalent of $2 movie is what Obamacare will bring. And it will be your only option!
Or let's take the bread analogy. Obama says $2 is too much for a loaf of whole wheat. So his regulators force all bakers to sell for no more than $1. Let's say the profit on each loaf was only 15%. Than means the balance of 70 cents is going to have to come from quality of ingredients, employee pay, laying off workers and other measures. And limiting ads means limiting competition and thus consumer awareness and choice.
This logic is what is being espoused by Obamacare unelected officials like Kathleen Sebelius:
"Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, consumers are no longer in the dark about their health insurance premiums," said HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius in a statement Thursday. "Now, insurance companies are required to justify rate increases of 10 % or higher. It's time for these companies to immediately rescind these unreasonable rate hikes, issue refunds to consumers, or publicly explain their refusal to do so.”
Now this sounds good until you realize that because of Obamacare the costs to those companies has already skyrocketed. But the Big Government doesn't want to allow them to recover those costs. Clearly this is a move to bankrupt and drive private insurance from the market and limit our choices.

Smart Meters Are Really "Peak Charge" Meters for Appliances
What is the Smart Grid and Smart Meters President Obama is pushing? According the the Smart Grid Newsletter they work in combination with new Energy Star appliances to communicate with the power utility exactly what appliances you are running when. This will allow your electric utility with the blessings of the Obama Administration, to start charging premium rates for "peak usage times."
Here is what the Web newsletter Smart Grid News is saying the government mandated, "enabled" devices in your home will be: "refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers, dishwashers and air conditioners"
"Honey, I'm home, what's for dinner?"
"Nothing, until 9pm when we start cooking it, Dear."
Or, at your sweltering office the AC is nearly off during the day because it's "peak" time and the prices are sky high. But, hey, it's really cheap at night when no one is there and it's not needed. Brilliant!!
This "smart" central control and pricing is like going back to the old phone company long distance monopoly days, where they jacked up call prices during "peak" daytime hours, charging as much as 75 cents a minute, because they had a government protected monopoly. AT&T made a mint.
Right now Congress is looking at it, including advocate Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-New Mexico).
And why are we doing this? The Environment? Bingaman says over 25 years it will save 525 tons of CO2. That's tiny. Even the very "green" USGS admits that volcanoes emit 200+ metric tons a year! Obviously this will have a negligible effect on the atmosphere. But GE will get stinking rich, and so will a lot of politicos.
The same USGS article says in 2003 man made CO2 was 26 billion tons. This sounds like a lot, until you realize the normal atmospheric CO2 is 2.34 quadrillion tons (.039 of the total atmosphere), and thus our CO2 contribution was only %.011. Just over one one-hundredth of a percent of the total CO2 in the air! That's not going to drive up the green house factor.
But Big Brother wants to peak at your thermostat on a hot afternoon and decide it's too high. No problem! Because of sky high "peak" prices you won't be cooking dinner until 9pm (like in Europe) so why not go out and grab the washboard so you can do your laundry.
Here is Australia's "peak hours" schedule. Canada is similar:
And the Aussies spin it by telling their serfs "you will save by learning to avoid the expensive peak hours." I. e., they jacked up the normal waking hours to screw consumers out of more money.
Here is what the Web newsletter Smart Grid News is saying the government mandated, "enabled" devices in your home will be: "refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers, dishwashers and air conditioners"
".... To motivate them [the consumers] to cut back use and perform what is called peak curtailment or peak leveling, prices of electricity are increased during high demand periods, ....This could mean making trade-offs such as cooking dinner at 9 pm instead of 5 pm."So picture this smart grid domestic scene:
"Honey, I'm home, what's for dinner?"
"Nothing, until 9pm when we start cooking it, Dear."

Witness: Trayvon Martin Pinned Down Zimmerman
Fox News affiliate in Orlando reports...
ORLANDO - A witness we haven't heard from before paints a much different picture than we've seen so far of what happened the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed.
The night of that shooting, police say there was a witness who saw it all.
Our sister station, FOX 35 in Orlando, has spoken to that witness.
What Sanford Police investigators have in the folder, they put together on the killing of Trayvon Martin few know about.
The file now sits in the hands of the state attorney. Now that file is just weeks away from being opened to a grand jury.
It shows more now about why police believed that night that George Zimmerman shouldn't have gone to jail.
Zimmerman called 911 and told dispatchers he was following a teen. The dispatcher told Zimmerman not to.
And from that moment to the shooting, details are few.
But one man's testimony could be key for the police.
"The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: 'help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911," he said.
Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.
The witness only wanted to be identified as "John," and didn't not want to be shown on camera.
His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman's claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.
"When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point," John said.
Zimmerman says the shooting was self defense. According to information released on the Sanford city website, Zimmerman said he was going back to his SUV when he was attacked by the teen.
Sanford police say Zimmerman was bloody in his face and head, and the back of his shirt was wet and had grass stains, indicating a struggle took place before the shooting.

The Chevy Volt: The Obamacar Like Obamacare
Obama has a lot at stake politically for the Volt. At a taxpayer $7500 tax rebate per car, indeed, that can be the only reason GM is pouring millions of dollars into gushy ads for a car that virtually no one wants and few can afford. It only sold 600 in January and just 1000 last month. And GM has temporarily halted production and idled 1300 workers due to low demand.
Enter Obamacare. It too is something few want, esp. when you factor in the mandate. %70 percent of Americans oppose it. And it's cost is staggering and climbing with each quarter as realities kick in.
And, like the Volt, it is being shoved downs the throats of all Americans even when provisions violate their religious convictions, forcing Catholics to purchase abortion pills for employees in their religious institutions. Obama's accommodation only puts a middle man in the transaction, who simply passes along the cost to the Catholic institutions in premiums. And those insurance companies will be forced now by Federal regulation to directly call each and every female employee at Catholic institutions to actively offer them free abortion pills.
