If you've ever watched The Dog Whisperer and you are a parent, you've probably realized that some of Caesar's principles for unruly pooches are applicable for the human species too.
It seems every week the first thing he does it get the owners in line. The dogs are just doing what the owners are projecting. Most don't lack in love for their canine friends, but they fail to fulfill their role as "leader of the pack" that the dogs are wired to respond to.
And Caesar don't take any monkey business of these furry miscreants. A firm and loving hand.
Yes, people are more complex, but at heart we mostly want the same things. To belong, be loved, fit in, do purposeful work, have some fun, and we all tend to respond to someone who seems to know what they are doing and likes us, and even doesn't let us get away with stuff we shouldn't be doing anyway.
